to do the
following for our community: _________________________________________________________
Bring entirely new programs of distinguished choral music drawn from a variety of genres, at a reasonable cost for each of our three annual concerts.
Enhance the learning and development experience of students studying musicat the Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) Annandale Campus,who rehearse and perform with us as Chorale members. Besides singing in our concerts, these students are eligible to sing with us as we augment the Metropolitan Chorus, while performing in the Kennedy Center’s Handel Messiah Sing Along concert, each December.
Extend our outreach programs consisting of our monthly sing-along sessions at the Fairfax Nursing Center and the Leewood Adult day Care and Nursing Center; as well as our annual sing-along visit to the Veterans Administration Hospital, in Washington D.C.
Provide the opportunity for individuals from all walks of life, ages, and musical backgrounds to come together as volunteer singers, and through their perfor-mance enrich the lives of our audiences with the joy of choral music.
We offer the following Donation Levels:
Sustainer — $1,000 and above
Benefactor — $500 - $999
Patron — $250 - $499
Donor — $100 - $249
Friend — $25 - $99
Scholarship Donation:
Additionally, you may contribute to our Scholarship program. Each semester a scholarship in the amount of $250 is awarded to a worthy student majoring in music at NVCC Annandale Campus who sings with the Northern Virginia Chorale for the current academic year. Your contribution toward this scholarship will continue to foster the mutually beneficial relationship between the Chorale and young students in our community pursuing their musical education.
